JSTOR Completes Arts & Sciences II Collection

JSTOR has announced the completion of its Arts & Sciences II Collection with the release of 47 new journal titles. Released in stages over the past eighteen months, Arts & Sciences II is a multidisciplinary collection containing the digitized archives of 122 journals in an array of disciplines including history, economics, Asian studies, classics, history of science, archeology, geography and African, Latin American, Slavic, and Middle Eastern studies.

The finalization of Arts & Sciences II furthers JSTOR's dual mission to create and maintain a trusted electronic archive of important scholarly journals, and to provide and extend access to these journals as widely as possible throughout the academic community. It is one of six journal collections in the JSTOR archive along with Arts & Sciences I, Business, Ecology & Botany, General Science, and Language & Literature.

Founded as a not-for-profit organization in 1995, JSTOR (http://www.jstor.org) contains the complete back-runs of 322 journals and is available at more than 1,500 libraries in 71 countries.
