Clarivate Analytics published the 2017 Journal Citation Reports (JCR), its "annual update of the world's most influential and comprehensive resource for information on highly cited, peer-reviewed publications and the source of Journal Impact Factor (JIF) scores."
JoVE Science Education Adds New Series and Updates Others
JoVE introduced a new physics series to its catalog of video resources for scientific research and education. This series, along with updated clinical skills and psychology series, are available in the JoVE Science Education database.
Demco Creates Discovery Tool for Libraries
Demco Software launched DiscoverLocal, a tool that helps public and academic libraries get higher rankings in search results. This gives their collections, programs, and events more visibility, which could translate to more usage of the library's resources and facilities, as well as help librarians with marketing initiatives.
