On May 4, 2017, ProPublica accused network operator Cloudflare of policies that make possible the "operations of such extreme sites" as "the neo-Nazi website The Daily Stormer." The article notes that Cloudflare ... was providing services to neo-Nazi sites, "including giving them personal information on people who complain about their content." ... [T]he article was picked up by other news outlets and has become another part of the ongoing debate about the role of websites and social media in giving a platform to extremism.
