DataSalon introduced OrgRef, a free, open dataset that extracts structured information about academic and research organizations from open resources such as Wikipedia. Anyone can download and use the dataset under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported license.

Innovative Announces New and Updated Polaris Services

Knight Foundation's (KF) latest Knight News Challenge: "How might we leverage libraries as a platform to build more knowledgeable communities?"
