More than 40% of the global population will vote or has already voted for leadership this year, with elections being held in 50-plus countries. While claims of election shenanigans are tales as old as time, the evolution of misinformation and disinformation combined with AI has created new challenges for all of us who are dedicated to free and fair elections, the democratic process, and the peaceful transfer of power.
