iMoneza Introduces New Revenue Stream for Publishers

iMoneza, a secure micropayment gateway for digital media, announced the availability of its cloud-based solution to help publishers develop a new revenue stream (charging a small 10–50 cent fee to read premium content). Publishers can offer basic content for free and price premium content individually to increase their revenue.

“If readers don’t want to become a subscriber, instead of publishers offering a metered pay wall and risking that readers go elsewhere, the reader can purchase specific content through iMoneza’s digital wallet via a simple one-click payment platform,” the press release notes.

There is no upfront cost or monthly fee to use iMoneza; the company takes a small percentage of publishers’ revenue.

For more information, read the press release.
