figshare Teams Up With the Digital Preservation Network

figshare joined the Digital Preservation Network (DPN) as its first research data repository. figshare’s public research data will be added to DPN via the DuraSpace DuraCloud Vault deposit node (a cooperative development between DPN, DuraSpace, and Chronopolis), which means that long-term access to figshare users’ scholarly resources will be protected. DPN members will also have access to further integration with figshare for institutions.
