Wolters Kluwer Enhances Clinical Trials Database
Wolters Kluwer Health (http://www.wkhealth.com) introduced an enhanced version of its Adis Clinical Trials Insight database. The company said the database was re-engineered to include the difficult-to-monitor ongoing studies as well as all trials that were presented at the top 100 meetings and published in the top medical journals—all in a single, searchable database. It includes coverage of more than 40,000 published and ongoing trials per year, more than four times the coverage of the previous version. In addition, improved indexing and biomarker endpoints allow users to evaluate study design and to determine studies where a specific endpoint has been used. This is designed to make comparator analysis easy to manage.Available immediately, the enhanced Adis Clinical Trials Insight is being marketed to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies for competitive intelligence, marketing, clinical development, regulatory investigation, and business development and licensing applications.
