Windows 10 Gets Summer Release

Microsoft will debut Windows 10 in summer 2015. New features include Windows Hello (featuring biometric authentication access), Cortana availability in Mandarin, and versions of Windows for Internet of Things devices (such as ATMs and ultrasound machines). According to The Atlantic, Microsoft will also introduce a new browser that will not be associated with Internet Explorer.

Microsoft plans to offer a free upgrade to the new version for many customers using Windows 7, Windows 8.1, and Windows Phone 8.1. Windows 10 will be available in 190 countries and 111 languages.
