Wiley Pilots Content Sharing for Authors, Subscribers, and the Media
Wiley introduced a content-sharing pilot for Wiley Online Library that gives authors and subscribers (both individual and institutional) a tool for sharing full-text articles for free with nonsubscribers. A media-sharing pilot will follow soon. Authors will be able to share all journals in Wiley’s portfolio, while subscribers and media outlets will be allowed to share 180 titles during this pilot. Subscribers can share via email, social media, and scholarly collaboration networks that have signed the Voluntary Principles for Article Sharing on Scholarly Collaboration Networks. Media outlets can link from research news to studies on Wiley Online Library so they can view the original findings for free.For more information, read the press release.
