Wiley Acquires Publishing Software Company
Wiley announced that it has signed a definitive agreement to buy Atypon, a publishing software company, for $120 million in cash. Atypon helps scholarly societies and publishers deliver, host, enhance, market, and manage their online content. It will be run as a separate business unit within Wiley. The deal is expected to close Oct. 1, 2016.For more information, read the press release.
