West Group Announces Enhancements to Westlaw Wireless
West Group (http://www.westgroup.com)has announced that Westlaw Wireless, the wireless version of Westlaw.com,now provides full-text wireless access to virtually all Westlaw and WestLegal Directory content. With the new release of Westlaw Wireless, wirelessusers can find a document, KeyCite a citation, and search Westlaw databases(using both Natural Language and Terms and Connectors [Boolean] searchmethods). Westlaw Wireless also offers expanded access to West Legal Directorycontent, including options to find an attorney, firm, courthouse, or legalprofessional by name or location.The earlier version of WestlawWireless allowed users to retrieve headnotes and case synopses or to e-mailthe full document to any non-wireless e-mail account. Now, when wirelessusers access http://wireless.westlaw.com, they have the option to viewfull-text content (in 5K increments) directly on a hand-held device—includingthe full text of cases, statutes, regulations, and news legal periodicals—orto send the results of a search to one or more e-mail addresses. Westlaw Wireless is availableto westlaw.com subscribers.
