Trumba Calendar Solution Available Through Boopsie
Boopsie, a mobile solution for universities and libraries worldwide, and Trumba Corp., a developer of online calendaring solutions, announced the availability of Trumba Connect through the Boopsie platform. The partnership will make it easy for library patrons whose libraries subscribe to both services to access calendar and event information anytime, anywhere through the Boopsie native mobile app.“Trumba’s powerful and flexible publishing features such as calendar sharing and custom fields are critical for libraries and organizations that publish and promote events across multiple locations,” says Dan Hickman, president of Trumba Corp. “Trumba’s event data feeds are easily integrated into mobile apps, enabling our customers to provide their audience with up-to-date event information wherever they are. Partnering with Boopsie provides our library customers a comprehensive solution, integrating their Trumba event calendars into their mobile apps so that library patrons have everything they need in one place, available anywhere.” In use in more than 2,500 libraries and universities, Boopsie is changing the way libraries look at their mobile presence, taking a more strategic approach to delivering content beyond the library catalog to users when and where they need information. The Boopsie application is customized for each individual library to provide the sophisticated functionality of today’s complex library onto a handheld device. Trumba Connect helps organizations increase event awareness and attendance and better connects them with their audiences through a comprehensive suite of tools that includes a hosted, interactive web calendar, email, and reporting services.
