Thomson Reuters' Eikon Messenger Reports Growth
Thomson Reuters’ Eikon Messenger had an increase in account registrations following Yahoo’s discontinuation of its legacy messaging and API service on Aug. 5, 2016. Energy companies and brokers around the world have endorsed Thomson Reuters’ product for its compliance and messaging capabilities.“The number of Eikon Messenger users connecting with counterparts on Yahoo Messenger has grown by 115% over the last quarter as many commodity and energy market participants encourage their counterparts to join them on Eikon Messenger ahead of the Yahoo deadline,” according to the press release.
