Thomson Financial (http://www.thomsonfinancial.com) has unveiled First Call Analyst, a powerful Web-based investment research and analytical tool for institutional investors. First Call Analyst combines the clients' own data with real-time institutional content from Thomson Financial and relevant third parties. First Call Analyst also offers sophisticated management tools, filters, advanced charting, and portfolio analytics, with full export capability to Microsoft Excel. First Call Analyst has been released to a group of institutional investors, with a global launch planned next month.First Call Analyst is the first component of Thomson Dashboard, a suite of customizable and interoperable investment-oriented programs brought together on a single interface. Thomson Dashboard components represent each phase of the investment process from decision support, stock selection, and research and analysis, to trade execution and settlement.
