The National Book Foundation Studies Translated Works in the U.S.

According to Melville House, the National Book Foundation is embarking on a study of translated books in the U.S. It will look at translation trends, how many translated works are published and purchased, how the translators’ network functions, and aspects of the translation business (e.g., diversity and the characteristics of translated works’ publishers), among other topics.
