The Department of the Treasury Updates Government Spending Site

The Department of the Treasury introduced Beta.USAspending.gov, a new beta version of the site that tracks how the federal government spends tax dollars. It now links spending data to awards distributed by the government. Users can search the site by location, federal agency, or keyword (for a specific program or spending type), as well as by a specific recipient of federal funds. The site’s data will be updated quarterly starting from May 2017.

For more information, read the press release.
