The British Library Presents Monty Python's Life of Palin

Writer, actor, comedian, and television presenter Michael Palin donated an archive of his personal literary and creative artifacts (collected from 1965 to 1987) to the British Library. It includes more than 50 notebooks of Monty Python drafts, material, and remembrances; personal diaries; and project files of his film, television, and literary works (correspondence, annotated scripts, etc.).

“My work has been inspired by, and created in, this country, so I’m very pleased that my archive has been accepted by the British Library, and that they will make it publicly available, so that future generations will know not to make the same mistakes again,” says Palin.

For more information, read the press release.
