TLC Releases Newest Version of Its ILS
The Library Corp. (TLC) rolled out the latest product release of the CARL•Solution ILS, which offers new functionality in CARL•X version 9.7.2, CARL•Connect Staff version 1.6.8, CARL•Connect Discovery version 3.6.6, and CARL•Solution APIs version 2.0.2.More capabilities from CARL•Solution Acquisitions are now integrated into the CARL•Connect web-based solution. CARL•Solution also now gives library staffers sticky grid sizing options and new information returned from BID searches. The Saved Lists experience is updated for patrons, and they can view item availability with defaults for their preferred branch. Other enhancements include better control over branch hours without support intervention, better shelf management and inventory processes, and the addition of a Last Seen Date for items to allow for better collection tracking and in-house circulation reports.
