Swets Launches Swets Book Service with Ingram

Swets Information Services (http://informationservices.swets.com), continuing its commitment to provide solutions that simplify the process of acquiring, accessing, and managing content, announced the launch of Swets Book Service. This new service enables Swets North American customers to order books easily and efficiently and is the result of an alliance between Swets and Ingram Library Services, Inc. (http://www.ingramlibrary.com).

With the addition of Swets Book Service to its portfolio, Swets customers gain the convenience of working with a single source to acquire both their books and journals content. Swets Book Service allows North American customers to purchase books via their Swets customer account managers or place orders online through SwetsWise Subscriptions, the Web-based service for ordering and managing journal subscriptions. By aligning with Ingram, Swets customers gain access to Ingram's selection of more than 2.5 million book titles.

The new service exposes Ingram's inventory to Swets' 60,000 global customers covering the academic, corporate, and government markets. Ingram Library Services, Inc. is a unit of Ingram Book Group (http://www.ingrambook.com), a wholesaler of trade books, spoken audio, and magazines.
