Springer Adopts Updating Service for Articles

Springer Science+Business Media announced that it will implement CrossMark, a service from the CrossRef organization that will identify updates to forthcoming Springer journal articles.

This multipublisher service helps readers know which version of published content is the authoritative source by adding the CrossMark logo on an article to explain its current status and publication-record information. The SpringerLink platform will now include a CrossMark window on articles’ HTML pages that describes updates to the content and provides bibliographic metadata.
