SirsiDynix and EBSCO Integrate Procurement Solutions
SirsiDynix and EBSCO Information Services are continuing to integrate EBSCO’s tools and services with SirsiDynix’s BLUEcloud LSP (library services platform). They plan to integrate their procurement solutions to streamline libraries’ acquisition processes. YBP Library Services’ GOBI3 interface will automatically push order information to BLUEcloud Acquisitions. After creating an order in GOBI3, librarians can see the resulting data in their LSP, and orders entered in EBSCOhost Collection Manager (for ebooks) or on EBSCONET Subscription Management (for journals) will be available within BLUEcloud Acquisitions.The companies previously integrated the SirsiDynix Enterprise discovery tool and EBSCO Discovery Service’s search results.
