SirsiDynix Makes Security a Priority
SirsiDynix announced that its SaaS solution was officially certified for compliance with the ISO 27001 security standard as well as officially accredited by the NIST SP 800-53 standard.ISO 27001 is published by ISO (International Organization for Standardization) and is used by governments around the world to show that security is properly implemented throughout an organization. It means that senior management is involved with assessing security risks and works to continuously improve its information security management system. NIST SP 800-53, from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), covers corporate operations, technology, physical security, and incident response plans, among other areas.
