Sirsi Partners with Moreover
Sirsi Corp. announced an alliance with Moreover Technologies to enhance Sirsi Rooms Context Management Solutions. Sirsi Rooms assists libraries in managing and presenting knowledge and resources—regardless of format or source—in contexts that meet people's needs."Content from Moreover Technologies will provide real-time news on numerous topics to enhance various Rooms Blueprints," said Mark Moorehead, Sirsi's director of product management. "Currently, Sirsi is continuing to develop Rooms Blueprints, which are ready-made virtual ‘rooms,' or collections, of quality content available on subscription with the Sirsi Rooms solution. Once this partnership is complete and back-end functionality confirmed, libraries will be able to provide their end users with dynamic ‘information in action' from Moreover, enabling Sirsi Rooms to deliver context-relevant real-time news content."
