Simba Information Releases Report on OA Publishing

Simba Information published a report, “Open Access Journal Publishing 2016-2020,” which finds that the number of OA articles published each year is growing at double the rate of the total amount of articles and that OA articles already represent about one-third of all articles published. The report estimates that by 2020, there will be more than 3 million OA articles published. It also features an in-depth review of 10 leading OA publishers such as Springer Nature, PLOS, Wiley, and Elsevier.
