SciQuest Launches New Products Derived from SciCentral

SciQuest, Inc. (http://www.sciquest.com), a software, information, and services company that provides solutions to enhance research operations for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and other research-based organizations, has announced the release of two new products, Newsfeed and Private Portal. Both were derived from SciCentral, SciQuest's research information portal.

The SciCentral Newsfeed will provide to the customer's Web site a daily supply of qualified, breaking research headlines that pertain to the biopharmaceutical area. SciQuest's technology allows for customization to match the host site's look, feel, and branding. For a modest monthly investment, companies can augment their Web presence with peer-reviewed scientific content from a proven and credible source, according to the announcement. Implementation only requires a few hours from the customer.

The SciCentral Private Portal consists of a more complete version of the SciCentral Web site, with the branding, site navigation, and look and feel of the customer's site. The Private Portal includes news from 100 disciplines and resources that have been uniquely screened for scientists. This set of resources can be useful for organizations that wish to make their sites a default or destination home page for scientists.

Once installed, Newsfeed and Private Portal will be updated daily by the SciCentral team of scientific editors and will require no additional maintenance by the customer.
