SLA Honors John Cotton Dana Award Recipients

At the Special Libraries Association (SLA) conference, to be held June 12–14, 2016, James Matarazzo and Toby Pearlstein will receive the John Cotton Dana Award, which is named for SLA’s founder and first president. Matarazzo (dean and professor emeritus of Simmons College’s School of Library and Information Science) and Pearlstein (former director of global information services at Bain & Co.) have made substantial contributions to corporate librarianship through their continued research on and writings about the value of corporate and special libraries.
