Reuters Releases Top 25 Global Innovators in Government List

Reuters announced its list of the Top 25 Global Innovators in government, compiled by the Intellectual Property & Science business of Thomson Reuters. It ranks the publicly funded institutions that do the most to advance science and technology. The top government research institutions include France’s Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission, Germany’s Fraunhofer Society, and the Japan Science and Technology Agency. Some of the U.S. institutions that made the list are the Department of Health & Human Services, the Department of Energy, and the Department of Veterans Affairs.
