ProQuest Promotes Library Holdings With Summon-SIPX Integration
ProQuest added the option to integrate its Summon Service discovery solution with the SIPX course materials solution, which it acquired in 2015, to enhance the relevance, visibility, and value of libraries across campuses. Instructors will be able to discover and assign readings for traditional and online classes, thus showcasing a library’s holdings and open content. They can share course readings by adding content to SIPX from Summon’s search results using a single sign-on.Libraries can access the integration as an additional purchase option, and it is turned on with a single click in the Summon administrative module.
