ProQuest Enables Automatic Ingestion From ORCID to Pivot

ProQuest updated its Pivot research solution to include automated updates from ORCID to scholar profiles—citations added to or updated in an ORCID profile will cascade into the scholar’s Pivot profile. Pivot can use this updated information to learn more about a scholar’s research area, allowing the tool to improve its recommendations for funding sources and collaborators to users. Scholars can use the time they would have spent updating their Pivot profiles to evaluate funding opportunities.

For more information, read the press release.
