Pilot Gives University Presses Access to Altmetric's Data
Altmetric and the AAUP (Association of American University Presses) joined forces for a 3-month pilot to provide editorial, marketing, communications, and other departments in six university presses with “the opportunity to familiarize themselves with Altmetric data.” The presses will have access to Altmetric Explorer for Publishers, which will help them track attention on their books—the various sources, such as social networks and peer-review forums, where their content is being shared and commented on, as well as book reviews and use in teaching syllabi.For more information, read the press release.
