Pew Releases Report on Long-Form News Reporting

Pew Research Center’s Journalism & Media division published a new report, “Long-Form Reading Shows Signs of Life in Our Mobile News World,” which finds that cellphone users do seem to be engaging with long-form news stories on their phones, a concern for news media creators, who have been making their content available on mobile devices. “Long-form articles get more than twice the engaged time of short-form articles,” it states, “[a]nd they get about the same number of visitors.”

For more information, read the report’s summary.
