Opencola Releases Enterprise Solution

Opencola, Ltd. announced the release of Opencola ENTERPRISE, the enterprise version of its knowledge management solution. (See the NewsBreak on the individual version—
-http://newsbreaks.infotoday.com/nbreader.asp?ArticleID=17047.) The enterprise version lets users search for all relevant information at the same time, find people who have relevant information, and share that information over a secure peer-to-peer network.

Opencola can perform one search that includes search engines, news sites, local drives, shared drives, user's shared desktops, intranet, and e-mail. Opencola supports Adobe Acrobat PDF, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, as well as all .html and .txt files. A relevance engine keeps searches current and allows users to alter the rank of search results in real-time based on the documents deemed relevant. Opencola ENTERPRISE can be implemented for a discrete team inside or outside the boundaries of the organization or it can be implemented organization-wide to every desktop to achieve enterprise intelligence.
