OpenText Acquires Dell EMC's Enterprise Content Division

OpenText signed a definitive agreement to purchase Dell EMC’s Enterprise Content Division (ECD), which includes enterprise content management products Documentum, InfoArchive, and LEAP, for $1.62 billion. ECD’s software, associated services, and employees will be integrated into OpenText to deepen its enterprise information management portfolio. Additionally, OpenText and Dell EMC will enter into a commercial partnership to expand their offerings and better support customers.
