OCLC Facilitates Virtual Reference Services for U.K. Students

OCLC and the Society of College, National and University Libraries (SCONUL) joined forces to provide after-hours virtual reference services in the U.K. and Ireland, meaning SCONUL members will deliver these services to students when their libraries are closed. OCLC is offering its QuestionPoint software—which provides a complete virtual reference management system—for this project. Students will have access to chats and emails with librarians, and librarians will get reports and analytics tools to view reference activity.

For more information, read the press release.
