NewsEdge, Northern Light Expand Partnership
NewsEdge Corp. (http://www.newsedge.com) and Northern Light Technology, Inc. (http://www.northernlight.com) have announced an expanded partnership. The new agreement calls for NewsEdge to market Northern Light's award-winning Web search and rich publication archive services to NewsEdge's eTopics and iTopics clients for use within their intranet and extranet environments, for a low annual fee.Introduced in May 2000, eTopics delivers current, editorially tailored business content to Web portals, corporate intranets, extranets, and e-commerce exchanges. iTopics, introduced in June 2000, is a service that integrates global, business-focused content into enterprise intranets. The addition of Northern Light's content and search provides a multiyear archive of premium publications and periodicals plus Web search facilities. NewsEdge president and CEO Cliff Pollan said, "Northern Light provides a rich research tool that gives companies a leg up on the competition and will also help NewsEdge corporate customers attract and retain loyal visitors."
