NewsAlert Expands Global Services and Announces New Company Name

NewsAlert, Inc., a provider of real-time business information and market data to e-finance Web sites and business-to-business e-marketplaces, has announced that the company is continuing to expand internationally, is introducing several new products this fall, and is changing its name to Inlumen, Inc.

"NewsAlert has undergone dramatic changes," said CEO Laurent Ohana. "Since January 2000 we've increased our customer base by 100 percent and have expanded globally with a talented international management team in Europe and Asia Pacific. We believe our new capabilities will support Web businesses worldwide and facilitate our expansion of products and services."

Inlumen will continue to provide its customers with aggregated, filtered, real-time news for their Web sites as well as market data, such as quotes, charts, sophisticated portfolio tracking, and real-time e-mail alerts.

The company will retain http://www.newsalert.com as the name of its consumer Web site, which provides free personalized news and e-mail alerts for its users. In October 1999, Ohana led the buyout of NewsAlert and has since launched an aggressive international expansion. The company currently has 133 employees with offices in New York, Jerusalem, London, Paris, and Singapore. Inlumen is planning on adding more international offices this year.
