New Type of Sage Report Outlines Its Commitment to Academic and Social Equity
SAGE released its first Independence With Impact report, “which covers the calendar year 2022, [and] outlines key areas where Sage is working to advance equity, sustainability, and freedom of expression in [the company’s] day-to-day work and beyond.”Its sections include Our People and Culture (showcasing charitable contributions); Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI; sharing strides such as Sage’s new Office of DEI); Enabling Impact (showing how Sage overhauled its time frame for measuring citations and helped subsidize Ukrainian researchers); and Sustainability (explaining how Sage has reduced its carbon emissions, among other environmental efforts).
