Nature Publishing Group Adds New Format to Its Journals Portfolio

Nature Publishing Group (NPG) rolled out Nature Reviews Disease Primers (NRDP), an online-only, peer-reviewed journal that features a new format for NPG publications—NRDP will contain review articles called Primers that have overviews of diseases and disorders, as well as an illustrated summary (PrimeView) alongside each article.

NRDP will cover a variety of medical conditions and health-related topics, such as aging. Primers will describe all aspects of conditions (epidemiology, disease mechanisms, diagnosis, and treatment) and include an Outlook section for discussion about the open research questions in the field.

For more information, read the press release.
