NTIS Announces Joint Venture for Data Innovation Support

The National Technical Information Service (NTIS) is looking for joint venture partners to create products or services based on federal data. The agency wants to understand how businesses, government agencies, and other groups use government data, combining it with nonfederal data and how data is shared (e.g., visualization); interpret data in new ways (e.g., predictive analytics); and learn how the data might be used to develop new technologies (e.g., machine learning and artificial intelligence). Proposals are due by Aug. 1, 2016.
