NIH Rolls Out Its First Strategic Plan for Data Science

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) published its first NIH Strategic Plan for Data Science to support its mission of storing, managing, standardizing, and publishing the data produced by biomedical research. The strategic plan provides a road map for modernizing the biomedical data science ecosystem, which NIH funds. As the organization implements the plan over the next year, it asks for community input.
