NAPC Offers New Content Solutions to Libraries National Archive Publishing Company (NAPC; http://www.napubco.com) announced its new NAPC Content Solutions service to support libraries with content management options. With the addition of this service, the company provides expertise for a range of microfilming and digitization services. NAPC also serves libraries and academic institutions with UMI Periodicals in Microform and XanEdu CoursePacks and Custom Publishing.NAPC now provides the following services: - Imaging (digitizing and microfilming)
- Image—both film to digital and digital to film
- Metadata capture and creation
- Text conversion—OCR and keyboarding
- Custom output formatting
- Film duplication and replacement
- Archive hosting (in part or in whole)
NAPC is a privately held company headquartered in Ann Arbor, Mich. The company was founded in 2005 through the firm's acquisition of established businesses from ProQuest Information and Learning.
