NAMLE Prepares for Media Literacy Week

Media Literacy Week will be Oct. 31–Nov. 4, 2016. This second annual U.S. event is sponsored by Trend Micro and is hosted by the National Association for Media Literacy Education (NAMLE). Its mission is to shine a light on the importance of media literacy education and on its essential role in general education practices.

The Digital Citizenship Summit on Oct. 28 at Twitter’s headquarters, using the theme Citizenship, Literacy, and Advocacy, will kick off the week. Other partners will work with NAMLE to hold additional events such as classroom lessons, webinars, and screenings.
