Mondosoft Enhances MondoSearch Engine

Mondosoft has announced enhancements to MondoSearch, its site search and reporting solution, to provide corporate customers with efficient and economical search and reporting across their intranets, extranets, and Web sites. With full support for Unicode, MondoSearch 4.4 features search capabilities for 37 languages, including Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Thai, and offers unique user-authentication functionality for secure content delivery based on user privileges. MondoSearch 4.4 has also been optimized for use with leading content management solutions to allow for quick and easy content delivery, administration, and management.

"MondoSearch 4.4 builds on the successful track record and momentum that Mondosoft is experiencing in the marketplace," said Laust Sondergaard, Mondosoft president and CEO. "The technology enhancements alone provide a level of functionality unique to this market and reinforce our commitment to global delivery of quality search products."

As with most MondoSearch features, the language-customization options are Webmaster-controlled and include automatic language detection for each page, support for simultaneous searches in several languages, flag icons that indicate the language of each page found, programming to ignore trivial words, and specific query expansions per language.

Also available with MondoSearch 4.4 are additional relevancy-ranking options that give Webmasters complete control over document and page rank. In addition, this new release lets company or site-specific icons be displayed in the results page to allow pertinent information to be immediately presented.
