MapQuest Introduces Premium Data Sets
MapQuest, Inc. (www.mapquest.com) announced the availability of new Premium Data Sets for its MapQuest Platform Enterprise Edition. The new offering provides access to boundary and point data such as neighborhoods, parcels, zip codes, public school districts, business locations, and U.S. census demographics. This information will enable businesses to add this content to MapQuest maps to provide valuable insights that help companies and consumers make better decisions. The demographic data features more than 400 categories from the U.S. census. Also available are more than 13 million U.S. and 2 million Canadian business listings, more than 100,000 U.S. public school locations, and U.S. traffic incident and flow data. These data are available for map display, search, and analysis, and the MapQuest Platform offers an extensible API as well as data hosting and data updates. MapQuest also released new Asian mapping and point-of-interest data for the MapQuest Platform in China and Japan. For added flexibility and customization, the map display data support English and native characters. MapQuest Premium Data Sets and the new map coverage in Asia are available as additional license options for existing MapQuest Platform Enterprise Edition customers as well as to new customers. More information about the new offerings can be found at: http://platform.mapquest.com. MapQuest, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of AOL, LLC, is based in Denver, Colo. Source: MapQuest, Inc.
