Macmillan Science and Education Grants Access to NPG Journals

Macmillan Science and Education launched a publishing initiative that allows subscribers to 49 Nature Publishing Group (NPG) journals to share the full text of articles with other (non-subscribing) researchers around the world. Researchers can share this read-only content via a link on NPG’s website that can be distributed through email and social media. More than 6,000 universities and organizations will make this option available to their scientists and students. Annotation functionality (comments and highlights, etc.) will be available soon.

Additionally, Macmillan Science and Education gives 100 global media outlets and blogs that report on NPG articles’ findings access to the same content. These outlets will be able to provide their readers with links to full-text, read-only versions of the scientific articles.
