Library of Congress and National Archives Partner With PDF Association

The Library of Congress (LC) and the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) joined the PDF Association, an organization promoting the adoption of international standards for PDF technology. Association members will benefit from dialogue with the LC and NARA, and the federal agencies will benefit from access to technical experts in the association. The LC and NARA will work with other PDF Association partner organizations to influence the development of PDF specifications, tools, and systems to meet archiving and long-term access needs.
