LexisNexis Offers Integrated Search Application
LexisNexis launched LexisNexis Total Search, an integrated search application for law firms that provides access to both internal and external content in a single search using the lexis.com user interface. LexisNexis Total Search provides easy access to internal work products including briefs, pleadings, and memoranda, while simultaneously searching the content available from LexisNexis. LexisNexis Total Search expands the boundaries of the LexisNexis Total Research System to maximize the use of a law firm's most prized intellectual property — its internal work product. The LexisNexis Total Search application architecture is customizable to meet the individual needs of each firm and allow for the integration of other products in the future. Installation of the application requires minimal integration and works on standard platforms. The company said that it is quickly deployable into a firm's existing technology infrastructure and fits into the existing work flow of legal professionals. Firm IT and administrative staff will not need to invest significant time or resources to implement, roll out, and maintain LexisNexis Total Search. Source: LexisNexis
