Koios Partners With Libraries on Google Ad Grant Applications

According to Library Technology Guides, Koios “has achieved the designation of Google Ad Grants Certified Professional. This means Koios has been fully certified by Google itself as an official partner that specializes in helping nonprofits win and manage Google Ad Grants.”

The Google Ad Grants program contributes $10,000 a month in advertising credit, in perpetuity, to libraries and other nonprofit institutions. They can use it “to buy the keyword-triggered ads that appear at the top of Google search results. This enables the nonprofits to set up location-specific advertising campaigns for any product or service, and guarantees they’ll be seen on search results screens thousands of times per month. This increases libraries’ visibility exponentially, making potential users aware of all their libraries have to offer.”

Koios is providing guidance on the program’s application process for free, and once a library gets an Ad Grant, it can access a 30-day free trial of the Koios Ads service, “which includes setting up ad campaigns in accordance with a library’s goals, keeping the account in compliance with shifting grant requirements, and studying local Google search patterns as well as ad click-throughs and conversions to optimize campaigns over time.”
