Jisc Sets Up ORCID Consortium for U.K. Universities

A national consortium arrangement negotiated by Jisc Collections now allows ORCID to be available to higher education institutions in the U.K. at reduced membership costs and with enhanced technical support. By making ORCID more accessible, U.K. research output will become more efficient as well as better managed and reused. So far, more than 50 universities have expressed interest in joining an ORCID consortium this year.
